YOU DRIVE
Highlands Motorsport Park Track Laps Run*
5-6 Hours
Your pick of a BMW 1M, 1M V8, E36 V8, E63 M6 V10 or E9x M3
This includes a drive along the scenic road starting in Lake Hāwea out to Cromwell where we stop at Highlands Motorsport Park.
2 tour laps of the world class racetrack (behind a pace car).
Breakfast and coffee/tea included.
We then head back through the Kawarau Gorge, through the Gibbston Valley vineyards.
A drive through the famous Arrowtown village.
From there we head up the Crown Range to over 1000m in altitude at the summit carpark.
The option to then swap vehicles at the Crown Range summit (this depends what vehicles are on the tour on the day).
A stop at the famous Cardrona Hotel for a photo and a refreshment (no alcohol can be consumed unfortunately).
From there we head down the Cardrona Valley into Wanaka and finally back to Lake Hāwea to finish the drive.
There are lots of other exciting activities to be enjoyed at Highlands Motorsport Park such as Hot Laps in a Lamborghini, Go-Karting, Museum tours and much much more. You will be able to explore these whilst there if you wish to.

*this is only run on dry weather days in warmer months of the year (due to rain and icy roads) and will be switched to an alternative experience if the weather is not suitable and the value difference refunded or credited.

Insurance excess can be reduced with the Drive Otago Crash Cushion.
DRIVE OTAGO CRASH CUSHION:
Should you damage the vehicle in any way, including in an accident, there is a maximum $5000 excess payable to Drive Otago. This can be reduced to a maximum excess payable of $1000 by taking out our Drive Otago Crash Cushion for an additional $125.00 per booking of Tours & Experiences.*only available on certain days so please reach out and let us know what date you had in mind.

All tour experiences are non-refundable and can only be credited with Drive Otago Credit for a future booking either for vehicle rental or another tour booking. You can also gift your credit to a family or friend, which must be re-issued from Drive Otago in their name. However, if the booked tour can not go ahead due to weather related reasons that are out of our control, the booking may be changed to an alternative tour or credited/refunded in full. Due to the region we live in, occasionally conditions can become snowy or icy at very short notice and for safety reasons, we can't operate in these conditions.
